The BBC has the story of Bruce Ivins, a suspect in the anthrax killings. He was apparently about to be charged with the crimes (finally; it only took them seven years) and committed suicide as a result. This is not the same guy as Dr. Hatfill, who'd already been accused of being a 'person of interest' in the crimes but exonerated earlier.
Rico says killing yourself to avoid prosecution is extreme, but kinda implies you were guilty...
