Another good one gone

Nolan Feeney has an obituary in Time for actor Geoffrey Lewis:
Geoffrey Lewis (photo, right), the father of actress Juliette Lewis (photo, left), known for his many appearances in Clint Eastwood films, died recently at age 79, of natural causes at his home in Woodland Hills, California, Variety reported.
He appeared in such Eastwood films as Any Which Way You Can, Thunderbolt and Lightfoot, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, and High Plains Drifter.
He was also nominated for a Golden Globe for his work on the 1980 television show Flo. Other television credits include Murder, She Wrote, Hawaii Five-O, Little House on the Prairie, and Barnaby Jones.
Born in San Diego, California, he grew up in Rhode Island and moved back to California at the age of ten. He is survived by his wife Paula Hochhalter, his daughter, Juliette Lewis, and nine other children including Lightfield and Matthew, both actors, and Dierdre, an actress.
Rico says he didn't recognize him from the name alone (though Rico did recognize her) but, seeing the photo, did.)
