Rico says he was finally able to get to, if not complete, a day of
Cowboy Action Shooting with the guys (well,
almost all them are guys) at
Quinton. (Mostly old coots, like Rico, but most of them grayer than Rico.) Rico
did get his first stage DQ in nearly thirty years of
Cowboy Action Shooting, because someone, who shall remain nameless
Mild Bill for their own good. working the unloading table failed to remind him to unload his (empty) brass, amidst a tizzy over the
other revolver breaking... Ah, well.
Somewhere along the way, Rico either wasn't told or forgot that this was supposed to be Hawai'ian Day at the range, but several folks showed up in Hawai'ian shirts (and pants, in one case; the guy's alias
should be, but isn't
Paniolo). Too bad, too; Rico's got a whole closet
full of Hawai'ian shirts...
