"U.S. Senator Jim DeMint (R-South Carolina) today introduced the Complete the Fence Act that will require the completion of 700 miles of reinforced pedestrian fencing along the nation’s southern border by December 31, 2010."
In the meantime, the Federal government is going to remove National Guard troops currently serving on the border six months early.
Rico says note the date for the fence; that's almost two full years from now which, at the current rate of illegal immigration, could mean (according to Border Patrol statistics) another million illegals.
All of this, of course, would be obviated by Rico's first-mile-open-season experiment...
