Obituary for the day

NBC News has an article about the loss of a behind-the-scenes star:
The actress best known for her role as the voice of a lead character’s mother on the hit comedy The Big Bang Theory died recently after a brief battle with cancer, her representatives said.
Carol Ann Susi played the voice of Mrs. Wolowitz, Howard Wolowitz’ mom, on the program.
"The Big Bang Theory family has lost a beloved member today with the passing of Carol Ann Susi, who hilariously and memorably voiced the role of Mrs. Wolowitz," Warner Bros. Television, CBS, and the show's producers said in a statement. "Unseen by viewers, the character became a bit of a mystery throughout the show’s eight seasons. What was not a mystery, however, was Carol Ann’s immense talent and comedic timing, which were on display during each unforgettable appearance. In addition to her talent, Carol Ann was a constant source of joy and kindness to all."
The character actress also played roles as Kolchak's secretary on the 1970s series Kolchak: The Night Stalker, and had various guest roles on shows that included Cheers, Doogie Howser, Seinfeld, and Six Feet Under, among others, the Ellis Talent Group said. Carol Ann is survived by a brother, Michael Susi.
Rico says that Howard's new wife does a pretty good imitation; maybe they can use her...
