Movie review for the day (TToE)

Rico says the ladyfriend wanted to see The Theory of Everything, so we went:
Starring Eddie Redmayne as Stephen Hawking, this is the extraordinary story of one of the world’s greatest living minds, the renowned astrophysicist Stephen Hawking, who falls deeply in love with fellow Cambridge, England university student Jane Wilde, played by Felicity Jones. Once a healthy, active young man, Hawking receives an earth-shattering diagnosis at just twenty-one years of age. With Wilde fighting tirelessly by his side, Hawking embarks on his most ambitious scientific work, studying the very thing he now has precious little of: time. Together, they defy impossible odds, breaking new ground in medicine and science, and achieving more than they could ever have dreamed. The film is based on the memoir Travelling to Infinity: My Life with Stephen by Jane Hawking, and is directed by Academy Award-winner James Marsh.
Rico says that Redmayne does an amazing job of physical acting, descending into the twisted form of Hawking over the course of the movie (revealed, brilliantly, in a dream sequence where Hawking unfolds from his wheelchair). In the immortal words of Joe Bob BriggsJoe Bob says check it out.

Rico also says that the movie was far too reminiscent of what his life might easily have been like, if his brain bleed had been worse...
