Why? It won't be cheap (even though we'll be doing it on the cheap), it'll be hard and long (we'll be going to dozens of reenactments from Gettysburg to Santa Fe to Key West), and it is, after all, merely history. Oh, yeah, and dressing up in funny clothes and marching around in the sun all day...
(First off, an admission. Rico stole, fair and square, the term Civil Wargasm from Robert Lee Hodge, as written up in Confederates in the Attic by Tony Horwitz. The original usage was three words, Civil War Gasm, but Rico likes the run-on version he's using.
