True words

"The framers and founding fathers meant what they said, said what they meant, and risked no waste of words."
That's Christopher Hitchens on the First Amendment.
It could just as easily be said of the Second.
Rico votes to remove the 'waste of words', however, and still leave the intent whole: "The Right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed."
That would preclude all the crap about what 'militia' and 'preservation of a free state' means...
