According to an on-line column by political analyst Dick Morris, the claims by Hillary Clinton of being "deeply involved" in the Irish peace process were bogus.
Geez, what a surprise.
Having been to Ireland many times on business, I was very interested in the "Irish peace process" and got the word from my Irish buddies on what was really happening.
What was not happening, apparently, was anything involving Hillary.
She got a teapot out of the deal (one she'd admired at a meeting with 'women leaders of the peace movement'; given Irish politics, those would be fringe people to the process), which she later returned as a memento.
She, of course, was really occupied at the time with a little domestic problem named Lewinsky...
