Gone, but not forgotten
One of my heroes, General Russel Honore, has retired from the Army. He says he wants to spend the rest of his life creating a “culture of preparedness” to prevent another post-disaster disaster. I can't think of a better man for the job. Too bad he wouldn't take the Homeland Security job; we could use a straight-talker like him.
Besides, when was the last time you heard any public figure say to a reporter: "You are stuck on stupid." Gotta love it.
