As Rico ate his Western omelet in the harbor of Martha's Vinyard, he dredged up Vaughn Meader, whose career was cut short in November of 1963, but whose record had a bit where JFK ordered a Western omelet, and Khrushev ordered an Eastern omelet. Informed that there was no such thing, he then insisted on having "the Eastern portion of his Western omelet".
