Burns Night

Rico says it's a damned fine idea, and he's reminded of it by A Dram Good Time:
Burns Night is one of Scotland’s highlights of the year, and is the celebration of Scotland’s national poet and favorite bard, Robert “Rabbie” Burns (painting). Celebrated on 25 January, Burns’ birthday, the night includes celebrations of Burns’ poetry, the Address to the Haggis (one of Burns’ most famous poems), the traditional dinner of haggis, neeps, & tatties (turnips & potatoes), various festivities, and of course your favorite beverage.
Rico says that, knowing what haggis is ("a savoury pudding containing sheep's pluck; minced with onion, oatmeal, suet, spices, and salt, mixed with stock, and traditionally encased in the animal's stomach and simmered for approximately three hours"), he'll pass, but turnips and potatoes and whisky will do nicely...
