Rico says he found
Martha Marcy May Marlene to be slow, dark, depressing, and misogynistic, but the ladyfriend liked it:
After escaping from a violent cult (run by Patrick, played by John Hawkes, of Deadwood fame) in rural New York, Martha (photo, left, played by Elizabeth Olsen) tries to reconnect with her estranged sister, Lucy (photo, right, played by Sarah Paulson), and Lucy's well-to-do husband, Ted (played by Hugh Dancy). But the brainwashing Martha endured continues to prevent her from forming an identity of her own.
Many awards and accolades, but
Rico don't get it. (Yet
Rico knew he recognized
John Hawkes from something else, just could
not remember what...)
