Stupidity for the day

Phillip Lucas has an article in the Philadelphia Daily News about yet another shooting in Philly:

Four men were hospitalized in stable condition after being wounded by the buckshots of a single shotgun blast on Camac Street near Chew Avenue in Fern Rock, police said. The victims were gathered near a set of stairs leading to a row house when a man fired a shotgun at them just after midnight, said Chief Inspector Scott Small.
The victims were sprayed with pellets from the gun and a projectile, which Small referred to as a wad, was lying on the sidewalk, encircled by chalk (photo) after police searched the scene for evidence.
A 23-year-old man was wounded in his ear, shoulder, chest, stomach, and thigh. Another 23-year-old man was wounded in his head and back. A 21-year-old man was wounded in his right arm, and a 20-year-old man was wounded in his right hand and left ear, police said.
Police took two victims to the Albert Einstein Medical Center, just south of the shooting scene. The other two victims were taken to the hospital by a private vehicle, Small said.
The shooter is known to police, however his identity has not yet been disclosed. Police called a SWAT team to a home on 12th Street near Nedro Avenue, where the shooter supposedly lives, but did not find him there.
The shooting stemmed from an ongoing dispute the suspect had with one or more of the victims, Small said, but the nature of the dispute was still unclear. A witness was taken to the Northwest Detective Division on Broad Street and Champlost Avenue for questioning.
The murmur of police radios mingled with the whir of air conditioning units and chirping insects while police searched the tree-lined block for evidence, and a wavering ribbon of yellow crime scene tape was still stretched across a portion of Camac Street at 1:20 a.m.
