Rico says that dashing young man in the Foreign Legion garb is him, only younger, circa 1992. (And, yes, getting a rental Schmeisser was not cheap.) Claris, where Rico then worked, had a long tradition of major costume parties on Halloween; amazing, but another legacy of the Apple years. (There's a whole video of this, but it's down now, sorry.)
