Don't get no better than that
Rico says that one of the unexpected finds during his recent visit to the otherwise-obscure hamlet of Robersonville, North Carolina (where his mother and stepfather currently reside) was a splendid eatery known as Carol's Home Cooking, run by Carolyn Pippins. It's located on Highway 64 in Robersonville, and a stop there (assuming you're hungry) is a very good idea. Inexpensive (by Philly standards, anyway), tasty, and filling. Rico says check it out, especially the Carolina barbecue (vinegary, not spicy), and the corn bread, and the collards, and the desserts…
