Too late for Rico

There was a time when Rico's ex was living with another woman, and he hoped (vainly) that they'd run off to some state where they'd already legalized same-sex marriage and tie the knot, thus removing the need for him to pay alimony. Didn't happen. Now California (where they all then resided) is going to make it happen, apparently.

Rico says it may be too late for his situation, but he's sure others will benefit from this realignment of the law. And why should straight people have all the fun of divorce? It will be interesting to see how this plays out...
