Forgotten warriors

Ken Burns' documentary, The War, has quite a large section about the 442 Regimental Combat Team (which included the later-Senator Daniel Inouye) and the 100th Infantry Battalion, the Japanese-American units that served so ably in the European theatre, because there was fear of confusion with the enemy if they served, except as translators, in the Pacific.
