Noah Rayman has a Time article about revenge porn:
Twitter has updated its rules to prohibit posting nude or sexually explicit photos without the subject’s consent. The new policies targeting so-called revenge porn mark Twitter’s latest move to crack down on cyber-bullying after previous updates over the past few months, including a new way to flag abusive tweets and a streamlined method of reporting harmful content.
“You may not post intimate photos or videos that were taken or distributed without the subject’s consent,” reads a line in Twitter’s “content boundaries” that was added recently.
The social-media site has come under fire for its lax controls against cyber-bullying, but has recently moved to take a tougher stance against online harassment. Last month, CEO Dick Costolo admitted in a leaked memo that “we suck at dealing with abuse and trolls.”
