It also applies to Rico's recent jaunt (with any luck, not to be repeated) aboard the CCT transit bus. Turns out the adventure (if one can call it that) was why we used to derisively refer to those who took the 'little bus' to school...
Rico shared his ride with several severely disabled kids, including one young black girl who sat in the back with her minder and yelled invectives until they (fortunately) got off...
It also served to remind Rico that, as fucked up as he may be, there are plenty of people worse off...
