More fucking winter

David Stout has a Time article about the (ugh) weather:
Winter storms are predicted to continue inundating large portions of the US with freezing rain and possible snowfall resulting in poor driving conditions for commuters, according to the National Weather Service.
“A snow and ice storm will continue to move northeastward from the mid-Mississippi Valley, bringing a swath of freezing rain from near St. Louis to southern New England,” read a report issued by the agency late on Sunday.
Wintry precipitation in and around Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Columbus, Ohio, and Indianapolis, Indiana may result in slick road conditions, reported the Weather Channel. Swathes of Indiana, including Indianapolis, are likely to remain under ice-storm warnings until Monday morning.
The broadcaster also reported that the New York City, New York and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania metropolitan areas are likely to get hit with freezing rain and snow throughout Monday morning until the afternoon.
Further south, the National Weather Service warned of rain and possible thunderstorms in the Carolinas.
The latest surge of Arctic air this winter is likely to continue plaguing the upper Midwest and northern Atlantic states at least until the middle of the week, according to forecasters.
Rico says there's nothing to love about winter, except that (unlike Snowball Earth) it will end...
