The weekend won't seem springlike, especially for anyone driving south on Sunday morning.Rico says he's just as happy he wasn't intending on going to a cowboy shoot in South Jersey this weekend...
Some snow could be in the air Saturday night into Sunday morning in the Philadelphia area.
"I don't think we're going to get a whole lot," said meteorologist Patrick O'Hara of the National Weather Service. "We might see some very light snow. It won't accumulate or anything like that."
But an inch or two of powerdy stuff stick stick in Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia, and even Richmond might see sleet, as a system out of the Oklahoma sweeps toward the Carolinas, which should get rain, O'Hara said. No high winds or flooding problems are expected from this storm, he said.
Cold temperatures will remain in place into the beginning of next week, with highs in the low to mid 40s, and overnight lows in the 20s or low 30s. Typically, late March sees highs in the mid 50s, with lows in the upper 30s. Wednesday should see a return to more normal temperatures.
