Ricochets do funny things. I was once shooting a .25 pistol in a sandpit. It was a place where I thought I had a good back stop. After firing, I felt a light tap on my lower lip. I then spit out the copper jacketed .25 I had just fired. My guess is that it hit a rock and bounced up and back, landing in my lower lip. That bullet is now sealed in a paper weight for posterity.
