According to the Christian Science Monitor on-line, the Israelis are 'demanding' that the Palestinians stop launching rockets from Gaza into Israel, principally the southern city of Sderot.
The Israeli defense minister has said that "the army will stop the phenomenon".
Given that promise, Rico suspects that some serious hardware will descend on Gaza pretty soon; the Israelis rarely bluff. "Israeli defense officials are suggesting they may start carrying out 'targeted assassinations' of political leaders in Gaza."
While there will inevitably be complaints about the use of assassination as a political tool, Rico asks what did they expect?
