The rules, really

While one of Rico's favorite movie lines (from Breaker Morant) was always the one about "Rule 303", regarding the use of .303 ammunition by the British army to kill the Boers, apparently there's a mythical "Rule 240" in the airline industry.
Lamentably, it went out with airline deregulation back in 1978, but it used to require airlines to 'to immediately place you on another flight, regardless of the fare you originally paid or the carrier you originally booked'.

Rico says he wishes it were still true...
