Old friends, still around

Checked to see if the drug I used to take for my allergies, Coricidin, was still around. It is.
Turns out that the active ingredient was my old friend Dexter Methorphan.
Well, actually, it's dextromethorphan, but I thought it worked better as a character name in a story I haven't written yet; sounds like a hard-bitten detective, doesn't it? If I ever write it, I'll post it here...
