Whether you believe the Americans did it with a tactical nuke (as if that wouldn't have showed up on some sniffer somewhere downwind) or the Israelis did it with conventional weapons, someone decided that the Syrians shouldn't have access to dangerous toys any more and took out their little nuclear reactor plaything recently.
Then the Syrians quickly bulldozed the rest into a pile of rubble so that no one could do intelligence analysis from satellite photos like these.
But I think their cover was blown that they were playing with matches, and they got burned as a result.
Morons.
