Trump for the day

Allen West has a column by Michael Cantrell about the latest out of The Donald:

GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump is hitting the campaign trail hot and heavy after what many analysts claimed was a rough week for the real estate mogul.
But today, during his comments before the Detroit Economic Club (photo), Trump left his critics and the media (not always one and the same)…speechless.
There were no crying babies. No comments about Muslims. And no disparaging descriptions of Rosie O’Donnell.
In fact, there was just “policy.” Say what?
As The Hill reports, Donald Trump laid out a tax-slashing agenda and blamed rival Hillary Clinton for America’s economic woes in a highly touted address at the Detroit Economic Club. “Our current tax code is so burdensome and complex that we waste nine billion hours a year in tax code compliance,” Trump said. “These reforms will offer the biggest tax revolution since the Reagan Tax Reform, which unleashed years of continued economic growth and job creation.”
Trump pledged to eliminate the estate tax and add a new tax deduction for childcare. As for tax rates, Trump said he will adopt House Republicans’ rates of zero, 12, 25, and 33 percent. His plan would allow business to write off investments immediately instead of waiting until the end of the year, cut regulations “massively”, and lower the business tax rate to fifteen percent.
Trump also promised to “massively” reduce regulations, starting with a “temporary moratorium on new agency regulations” the day he takes office.
In fact, Trump laid out safe, reasonable economic policy. What a shocker, eh? As the mainstream media. liberals, Hillary Clinton and the #NeverTrump crowd attempt to paint Donald Trump as an unhinged, racist, bigoted dictator clinging onto the polls by his manicured fingernails, he comes out with a solid economic speech.
Can’t wait to see the MSNBC headlines for this one...
Rico says that, for once, he's speechless, too...
