Killing the Messenger

Rico says he gleefully loaded up the new Facebook Messenger app, thinking it would provide an easier communications solution than Apple's Message or e-mail.
Within minutes, it was hacked by someone pretending to be Rico's cousin, offering access to some mysterious $10,000 they 'won' on-line.
Rico was forced to remove the app to make them go away, and hasn't dared reinstall it.

As Rico has noted before, hackers should have their fingers removed, without anesthesia, preferably on national television...
