Abominable, indeed

Masterpiece Mystery had a Sherlock episode, The Abominable Bride, on last night, and Rico (in spite of his friend Kelley's warning), watched it.
It was, indeed, abominable:
Sherlock and Watson travel back to Victorian England, solving the case of the Abominable Bride.
Rico says, first of all, time travel? No visible connection to H.G. Wells and his Time Machine. No particular reason for them to go, nor come back. And having poor Mycroft, Holmes' brother, eating himself to an early death was really ugly. So, too, was the case; not that interesting, cluttered with idiots, and it dredged up poor dead Moriarty (though the shots of them at the Reichenberg Falls were incredibly well done.)
