Gubs for the day

The NRA has finally gone over the edge, and Elliot Hannon has the story in Slate:

If you’ve ever wondered where your average NRA member might come down on blind people carrying guns, Dom Raso is your guy. Raso (in video), a former Navy SEAL and frequent commentator for NRA News, posted a two-minute editorial outlining why seeing what you're shooting at isn’t really that important. "Every law-abiding, blind individual should be able to have whatever guns they want” is Dom’s operating thesis statement. “And if you disagree with that statement or you haven’t thought it all the way through, you don’t take your rights seriously enough.”
The video points out this is not necessarily the NRA’s stance, but even still, the NRA yanked it down off their site.
Rico says that arming blind people, while seemingly a good idea, probably won't work, even with a shotgun...
