Growing cat-like

Rico says no, not stealthy and dangerous to small birds and rodents, but crepuscular.
He is writing this (in his usual third-person singular) at, as usual, 0400, after having gotten up to change the waterbowl and fill the food bowls of his two feline housemates.
This after, as usual, visiting his own litterbox (okay, okay, toilet).
He will now return, just like the cats, to sleeping with his white-haired bed-mate...
