A New Jersey boy has quit his youth football team after he was told he could not play if he wore pink gloves. Julian Connerton was wearing them to support his mother's fight against breast cancer, but Louis Barrios of the Egg Harbor City Crusaders Youth Athletic League Association told The Press of Atlantic City that the twelve-year-old's coach didn't realize why the boy was wearing pink gloves at Saturday's game. Barrios says it was strictly a uniform situation, and says the league plans to apologize to the family and ask the boy to return to the team.
