If Conan Doyle can do it...

...why can't the Philadelphia PD?

If you substitute Zimmerman for Cunningham, and a Glock fir the revolver, in this piece from the Sherlock Holmes story "The Reigate Puzzle", you'll agree with Rico that Zimmerman was guilty of murdering poor Trayvon: "The wound upon the dead man was, as I was able to determine with absolute confidence, fired from a revolver at a distance of something over four yards. There was no powder-blackening on the clothes. Evidently, therefore, Alec Cunningham had lied when he said that the two men were struggling when the shot was fired."

Rico says they haven't, to his knowledge, yet released the autopsy results, but powder burns are pretty fucking obvious...
