Rico says it's odd what starts, of a morning, running unbidden through what passes for his mind; today it was the theme song from the old Paladin television series, starring Richard Boone (he of the face like an old boot).Rico says he and his father happened to be vacationing (scuba diving) in Hawaii in the late 1960s, and who should be drinking in the same bar but a local resident, Mr. Boone. He looked just like his photos, only worse...
