Rico says the Zelig quality of his life is now spreading: the ladyfriend has the same surname as the captain of the USS Bainbridge, which carried the SEALs that whacked the Somali pirates holding the captive Captain Phillips.The Bainbridge, in turn, was named for William Bainbridge, a Navy captain sent to deal (both the first time and the second time) with the Barbary pirates. Even more Zelig-like, he died and is buried in Philadelphia...
