A flight to have missed

Rico says he was a passenger for a cross-wind landing much like this on Nantucket, but fortunately it was in a DeHavilland Twin Otter, which the Air New England pilot could, at the last second, just crank parallel to the runway and shove down onto the asphalt, unlike this big Lufthansa A320 (though you can see the pilot try that)... And these passengers should've given the Lufthansa pilots a standing ovation when they landed (eventually and somewhere else), because they were all very lucky to be alive.
