Rico says that, every once in awhile, he has to recite the list of those friends and family who've 'gone before', just to remember them yet again as they were:
Mel Brecher, the father of my friend Alan
Michael Castellano, the father of my ladyfriend Chris
Ken Cauthen, a friend from my time in the hospital
Too Dang Frank, a cowboy action shooting friend
Li Greiner, a friend from the old days at Apple (lost to AIDS)
Bob and Marion Jones, my paternal uncle and aunt
Warren P. 'Kit' Kitterman, a friend and my pseudo-uncle (my father's college roommate)
Pat Leamy, an Irish friend from the old days at Claris
Lenny Seigel, a friend from the old days in California (lost to AIDS)
John Seymour, my paternal uncle
LeRoy DeVoe Seymour, my paternal grandfather
C.W. Wilson, my maternal uncle
George Haywood Wilson, my maternal grandfather
And then there are those of whom he simply has no word:
a friend in Philadelphia
Charles Davis, a previously-homeless person
and friends from the old days in California
Sam Kitt, a friend from childhood
Tom Lindgren
Roland Loomis
Tom Manhard
Frank Morales
Phil Quinn
Robert E. Smith, a friend from childhood
Don Stoll
and friends from the old days in Nantucket
Charles O. Hegarty
Walt Martins
and a friend from the SOF Convention in Vegas
Dave Thomson
If anyone has any information on any of these folks, or knows how best to contact any of them,
email Rico, with his thanks.
