Call it a taste of summer. Starting today, those chilly winds will be gone as temperatures begin to climb a path to the low 80s this week.
The National Weather Service is calling for a pleasant spring day with partly sunny skies and a high of 72. Tomorrow should see a high of 78 to 80 with similar conditions. But by midweek, things really get cooking. Wednesday will be partly sunny with a high near 83.
Although there is a chance of showers Thursday, temperatures will remain in the mid-to-high 70s, with some forecasts calling it to remain in the low 80s. Friday will see a dip in temperatures with a high of 61.
The weekend? Look for a near perfect spring weekend, with highs near 60 and plenty of sun for Saturday and Sunday.
