Rico says he and the ladyfriend went to see Beginners, which he's now recommending, though it was more about Endings than Beginnings...
Christopher Plummer, as Ewan McGregor's father (gay, even while married, and out now that the mother, well played by Mary Page Keller, has died) is excellent; if the actor isn't gay, he plays one well. (Hell, that's what acting is all about, right?)
A convoluted movie, with a lot of flashbacks, you gotta stay awake to figure out what's happening, but it's a good story. Rico says check it out. (With apologies to Joe Bob Briggs.)
