Rico says that Lucky magazine has an article by Jennifer Scruby entitled Is Gray Hair Totally Hot? Given that his ladyfriend has had white hair since before he met her, Rico would have to say yes. (And, for all you guys out there, unless you keep getting younger girlfriends, you'd better get used to liking it, too.)
People do not generally go prematurely gray by choice. Except, recently, Kelly Osbourne, Lilly Scott of American Idol, and Tavi Gevinson (the tween fashion blogger). Gray makes some sense for thirteen-year-old Tavi: she's long used granny style to add a dash of gravitas to her image. I would think adopting senior-citizen drag and blue rinse would be really tough on your skin tone, and should therefore be recommended only for very young, card-carrying eccentrics.
Okay, I'll give you Emmy Lou Harris. And maybe Winona Ryder in Star Trek, and Carol Kane in The Princess Bride. And Kelly, because I love her. But really, that's it. Am I wrong?
