The ABC morning show had the head of the Special Olympics and a Special Olympian (double whammy; she's black) on this morning, discussing (or, more properly, dissing) the new movie Tropic Thunder for its use of the dreaded R-word. Interestingly enough, given the choice of athletes, they didn't think the use of the N-word in the movie was as offensive as the R-word... (So would now 'pigmentally-challenged' be the politically correct version of 'nigger'?)
