Too stupid to hold office

al-Reuters has the story of Kwame Kilpatrick, the mayor of Detroit, who couldn't figure out that traveling without informing the court was going to violate his bond (he's being tried for perjury and official misconduct). The suit's nice, and the flower's a nice touch, but he's not too bright, this one, and now he's going to sit in jail and try and figure out what happened to him, even though he was "once seen as a rising star in the Democratic Party"...
