Oh, darn, cheaper gas

Bloomberg is reporting that gas has fallen below $120 a barrel, now that Edouard will miss the facilities offshore of Texas: "A market that can't rally on bullish news is a bear market,'' said Tim Evans, an energy analyst for Citi Futures Perspective in New York. "We're just seeing disappointment that for all of the tropical-storm news, the talk of Iran and Valero's explosion, all of these bullish stories are not pushing the price higher.''

Rico says he's not disappointed, though he'd love to see it drop to below $20 a barrel, like the old days... (And he'll be buying an alternative automobile, next time, just to help the process.)
