Movie review for the day

Rico says he and the ladyfriend stayed up late watching the classic Maltese Falcon. Directed by John Huston (who wrote the screenplay based on Dashiell Hammett's book), it had an amazing cast, including Humphrey Bogart (photo, at left) as Sam SpadeMary Astor (photo, center, who Rico didn't recognize), Peter Lorre (photo, right), Sydney GreenstreetWard Bond (photo, far right), Jerome Cowan (who got to play Miles Archer for not very long), Walter Huston, John's father, as Captain Jacoby, and Elisha Cook Jr.
A film noir about 'the thing that dreams are made of', it's a must-see:
A private detective takes on a case that involves him with three eccentric criminals, a gorgeous liar, and their quest for a priceless statuette.
