Plans are afloat to use cruise ships to house tourists and Olympic staff in the face of a shortage of hotel rooms for the 2010 Winter Games. Olympic organizers have formally issued a request for a charter vessel to be docked in nearby Squamish, British Columbia, Canada, during the Games to house a few hundred workers.
