Trump Apocalypse Watch

Slate has an article by Ben Mathis-Lilley about Trump:

As you can see in the photo above, Donald Trump announced via tweet today that he was eating a taco bowl, and loves Hispanics. He's also currently polling at about eleven percent among Latinos, which is down from the 23 percent Mitt Romney got in 2012 and way down from the forty-four percent that the last winning Republican presidential candidate, George W. Bush, got in 2004. Will eating a generic Tex-Mex dish help Trump win over this voting bloc? My one-person survey of myself says the answer is no, and Slate campaign blogger Josh Voorhees' survey of this year's Senate races notes that Trump's reputation among Latinos could also be a big obstacle to Republicans campaigning in states such as California, Nevada, and Florida. Hillary Clinton, meanwhile, has already started hoisting Trump by his own petard in very effective new ads. The Trump Apocalypse Watch danger level drops to only one horseman.
Rico says he can't imagine this guy (much less his opponent) as President... (Then again, Rico couldn't imagine Nixon, either, and we survived him.)
