Slate has an article by Ben Mathis-Lilley about a woman paying the price for her stupidity:

Jamie Gilt lives in Jacksonville, Florida, and operated a Facebook page called Jamie Gilt for Gun Sense (photo) on which she posted liberal-baiting pro-gun memes. (The page is no longer available to the public.) The photo is of Gilt from her Facebook gun page; on her personal Facebook page, there is a picture of Gilt wearing the same shirt, with a child on her lap, holding what appears to be the same gun.
Yesterday, a woman named Jamie Gilt, and there's only one Jamie Gilt listed in public records as a resident of Florida, was hospitalized after telling police that her four-year-old son had shot her in the back while she was driving. From a Jacksonville NBC affiliate:

Jamie Gilt, 31, of Jacksonville, was found shot in the driver's seat of a truck near where State Road 20 and Rowland Avenue meet about 3 pm by a deputy stopping to check on the vehicle, which was partially in the roadway, according to the Putnam County Sheriff's Office.
Gilt motioned for help and told investigators her son had accidentally shot her. Gilt remains hospitalized in stable condition.

Rico says one hates to say that anyone (well, a few people that Rico knows) actually deserve shooting, but this is close...
