The New York Times has an article by Thomas Fuller about actors in pornographic films fighting a proposal to enforce safety regulations:

The California measure, which would force performers to wear condoms and, in some cases, goggles or rubber gloves on camera, was voted down by a safety and health board pending a revised proposal.
