Not a smart move

The Clarion Project has an article about another threat by ISIS:

The Islamic State threatened to behead the Statue of Liberty in New York City. Jihadists published a picture of the headless statue holding the ISIS black flag on Twitter.
Written beneath the picture were the words “soon the state of the Islamic Caliphate.”
In the background, you can see the iconic skyline of New York City burning.
Twitter users responded sarcastically to the picture. One of them said “ISIS should get the Oscar for sarcasm.”
Britain has also received threats of another attack. Abdullah Elmir, known as ‘the Ginger Jihadi’ became a poster boy for the Islamic State when he moved there from Sydney, Australia. He spoke to The Mail, announcing that he has ‘connections’ to the UK and that “brothers that I know there… are itching to do an attack.” In case there was any doubt he added “this is a direct threat.” British police are investigating the credibility of the threat.
The Mail on Sunday also confirmed that he has now gotten married, to Amira Abase of East London. Abase is one of three British schoolgirls who ran away to the Islamic State last year with the intention of becoming jihadi brides.

It seems that she has got her wish. Now that she is married, she will have to wear a black himar, rather than the white one reserved for unmarried women. The Islamic State forces women to wear color-coded clothing denoting marital status.
She is sixteen and Elmir is eighteen. Protective of his new wife, he told The Mail on Sunday not to contact her again.
